A linear quarry cut, possibly for stone extraction rather than metal ore, although it is may be a run-in mine level. The cut measures 30m SSE-NNW x 6m wide and is up to 3m deep. There is very little spoil in the vicinity, but it is assumed to be associated with activity at the Hyddgen lead mine, NPRN 303268. R.P. Sambrook, Trysor, 6 January 2006
