DescriptionA late Georgian mansion of 1772-4. This replaced an earlier house that still survives (NPRN 28686). The house is now the centre of a holiday resort.
A three storey house of stone rubble with raised quoins, rising to a parapet behind which is a hipped slate roof. The house faces south, where it presents a five bay facade with a central doorway in a Tuscan doorcase. It has a four bay return elevation to the east. There are service wings to the west.
The house stands within extensive grounds and gardens (NPRN 265177). There are outbuildings to the north-west.
