Description
A loose collection of 9-10 low earth and stone constructed sub-circular cairns. They are sat on the crest of the hill on the north side of Llyn Ffynhonnau, in an area 145m long west/east by 30m wide. Each of the cairns measure c. 3m in diameter and 0.50m high. There is a slight possibility that they are shooting stands however no internal features were visible. The peat and heather were abundant upon the top of the cairns. It is shown on the RCAHMW Aerial Photographic Interpretation. P.J. Schofield, Oxford Archaeology North, 21st December 2005
