A low sub-circular cairn measuring approximately 3.5m in diameter and 0.40m high. It has been built with small to medium sized stones that are visible amongst the heather. It is of unknown date and function but the proximity of the cairn to a path may indicate that it is a marker cairn. P.J. Schofield, Oxford Archaeology North, 22nd December 2005
