Description
A field-system consisting of a loose grouping of several stretches of sinuous walling that appear to be the result of field clearance as well as field wall building. They each measure up to 1.5m wide and 0.40m high with lengths of up to 200m. At some points the walling consists of clearance cairns that have small stretches of walling linking them in curvilinear lengths. There is an area of dense surface stone cover on the eastern side of the enclosure around Castell-Caeronwy but there does appear to be signs of some small clearance piles within it. The field-system is shown on the RCAHMW Aerial Photographic Interpretation.
