Description
A group of ten sub-rectangular stony mounds that cover an area of flat ground cleared ground on the stony hillside. The overall area measures 190m long west/east by 45m wide and each mound is up to 14m long by 2m wide and 0.70m high. They are probably clearance cairns or more unlikely house platforms that are associated with the field-system to the west (NPRN 287260). They have become grassed over and some similar mounds within the field system were found to be house platforms (NPRN 287274).They are partially shown on the RCAHMW Aerial Photographic Interpretation.
