A 42m long 2m wide linear ditch approx. 0.5m deep and with a u-shaped base. Located on a west-facing slope and orientated east/west it is sited at the top of a stream gully that is on the same alignment. This features cuts into a ditch that runs along the tramway, on its east side, and is cut by a modern track. Noted during an upland survey conducted by Archaeophysica during 2005-6
