Multiple episodes of tipping from a level which fan out from the entrance. There is no sign of a tramway so spoil must have been hand or pony tipped. A retaining wall 13m long, with a return at the southern end reaches 1.3m in height but is breached in places. Noted during an upland survey conducted by Archaeophysica during 2005-6
