Description
Cottage pair, southern row 1st from the west, 3m in front of a stone wall to the north-west and 5m from a field boundary to the south-west. Each measures 6.5m wide (north-west to south-east) by 5m front to back (north-east to south-west), the remaining walls stand to a maximum height of 0.7m. The front door of each property is slightly off-centre in the south-easterly wall, being closer to the party wall than the gable ends. Each property's internal wall runs from the front wall to the back, with the doorway located just off-centre towards the back of the house, and it is in the smaller room that two windows, one facing south-east the other north-west, can be seen. The walls average 0.6m in thickness throughout. The sketch attached to this record is the schematic for this row. Forms part of Treforys Village NPRN306319. Noted during an upland survey conducted by Archaeophysica during 2005-6
