Site Record

Field system, part of the farmstead at Bugeilyn, NPRN 289770. The field system extended from the farmhouse, NPRN 21375, southwards to the lake, NPRN 402607. Its western edge was defined by bank NPRN 289761, and its eastern edge by bank NPRN 289747. The field system is shown clearly on 1st, 2nd and 4th edition maps, and consists of two large fields and enclosure NPRN 289771. When the site was visited in 2006, the field system no longer existed in that form, having been replaced by post and wire fences on different alignments. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 10 January 2007
