Description
The three buildings, dating from about 1836, originally consisted of six four storey back-to-back weavers houses; the lower two floors were used as domestic accommodation and the upper two floors, with large rooms running the length of the building, for hand-loom weaving. The upper floors are currently used as a textile museum, which opened in 1967.
