Upper incline plane, 2m wide, terminating in the winding house at top, 9m x 6m. North retaining wall built into hillside, upstanding 3m x 0.5m thick to the level of the top tramroad. Immediately adjacent is the remains of the winding pit, 5m x 2.5m x 0.5m deep. Blocks in the centre of the top of the incline show evidence of wear from the cable.
