Extensive limestone quarries with cliff faces up to 12 m high and extending over 350 m . Numerous spoil heaps and tramways ( NPRNs 285440, 285441 ). There are further rock outcrops and spoil heaps up to 50 m to the east of the current rock face indicating that perhaps up to 50 m of hill side may have been quarried.
