Description
A rectangular sheep fold built on the east facing hill slope adjacent to an outcrop of sandstone rocks. The fold has dry stone walls made from boulders and in-filled with smaller rock fragments. It is 4.5m by 9.5m, aligned north-south and the walls survive t a height of 1,5m and a thickness of 0.6m. There is an internal structure on the south-east corner o the fold which is 1.75 by 2.25 m with an entrance in its north-east corner. This may have been a shelter for the shepherd.
