A brick valve house, 4m x 3.5m constructed on a cast concrete base at the edge of the reservoir. It has a single pitch concrete roof and a steel door on the east and blocked-up windows on the north and south elevations. . There are cast concrete steps leading from the valve house down to the reservoir embankment.
