Description
Garth Fawr, Pontrobert, is a 17th century part timber-framed lobby entry house. The building is 1?-storeys and two units, enlarged to three, mostly encased or underbuilt in stone. There is a diminishing course slate roof with a modern brickwork chimney left of centre, as seen from the front. The rear wing has a stone end-chimney. The front elevation (to the garden) is principally of stone, coloured white. Timber framing remains in the upper part of the left and middle bays. There are two dormers with modern casements and a gabled porch.
