Concrete platform approx 8 x 8m. Brick retaining wall to rear up to 4m high, with concrete-lined tunnel or chute leading into hillside; doorway to its L leading to concrete steps. Further steps at opposite end leading to a lower plartform with brick sills and walls. Similar in form to (NPRN293151). Directly above and joining machine house (NPRN293133). The tunnel is aligned with shaft (NPRN293150).
