Description
Lake Vyrnwy Hotel, situated beside the lake, was a hunting lodge built to house dignitaries visiting the construction of the dam that created the lake in the late 19th century. In 1905 a major reconstruction of the main building was carried out, and further extensions were added in 1930. The building is 3-storey with a half-timbered top storey. In 1985 the freehold was purchased. Further substantial refurbishments and additions have been made.
