Slate tip adjacent to level, extends over at least 30m patch, stands up to 10m above ground level with flat top. Tip incorporates small stretches of walling, which may have been revetments or earlier platforms. On top of tip, directly in front of level is a platform, about 2m wide by 3m long, which may have been end of a waggon run. (A.C.K. Roseveare & N.A.R. Vaughan, AP, 29/03/2007)
