Paddock is situated to the north of the minor road between St Twynnells and Castlemartin, 1km east of the latter. It is a 19th century cottage, rebuilt by the Cawdors, on the site of a cottage that appears on maps of the 1780s, and there are references to a building there in 1628. The present building is square in plan, having 2 front rooms 1.5 storeys high and a lean-to rear, formerly containing an oven. The rendered walls are of large, squared rubble blocks, with openings with cambered heads.
