Multi-phase settlement overlain by post-medieval sheepfold (nprn 507471), and close to a natural boulder field that provided the building stone. It comprises a large oval enclosure (nprn 507472) and round huts (NPRN 507473, 507474, 507475, 507476, 507477, 507481, 507482, 507483, 507487, 507489) of probable Iron Age date, and enclosures or folds (NPRN 507478, 507486) and long huts (NPRN 507479, 507480, 507484, 507485, 507486, 507797) of medieval or post-medieval date.
