In various Milk Marketing Board records of the 1930s, there is mention of their "Swansea Creamery" in Station Road, Cockett. On the fourth edition of the Ordnance Survey 25in map of 1940, a milk depot is shown in Station Road; it also appears on the 1970 edition. The depot was sold to United Dairies in 1944 and operated as a local milk distribution depot until closure in the early 1980s. The site has since been demolished and built over.
