1. When visited in 1990 the owner at Beech Court Farm reported that the field in question had been reclaimed '16-17 years ago' and ploughed in the process but only once. The surface is uneven and irregular with slight hollows and rises which make little sense at ground level.

2. GAT report that the enclosure was still visible on an AP of 1988 as a 100m diameter earthwork enclosure.

3. Site was excavated in 2002 in advance of quarrying by GGAT. Excavations visited on the ground by TGD. Interrupted ditch sections revealed with finds including Bronze Age sherds, flint scatters and a fragment of a greenstone axe.
