Description
1. Orangery incorporated in the garden terraces (Nprn23115) below the SE side of Powis Castle (Nprn29858).

2. Probably constructed 1668-1705, but has been altered since Bucks' 1742 illustration. The internal consturction is early C19, with possible C20 alterations to steps. Brick with stone dressings. 7 window range, 18-pane sashes with flat arched heads. Doric columns to a round-arched entrance. Balustraded parapet carrying lead statues. Forms the middle tier of terraces.
