Description
Early nineteenth century stables and coach house, now demolished, associated with the Bishop's Palace (NPRN 26028). The stables were an L-plan range, two storeys and brick walled, under a hipped roof. The attached coachhouse was a higher two storey building under a hipped roof. The south front had six sash windows on the upper storey and two broad carriage entrances below.
The buildings had been greatly altered and added to during a period as Council depot buildings.
