Description
1. Several spoil tips enclosed within a field boundary with a bank cutting diagonally across the SW corner of the boundary. DAT records lists a number of mine names probably highlighting changes in management: Bendigaed; Florida West; Cardigan South Bog; Bryn Crach. Visible on AP.

2. From early trials in the 1840's-50's (sources conflict) the mine was worked until 1865.
Surface remains consists of two damaged wheelpits, fed by a leat from the E and connected to the workings to the NW, where an area of waste and indications of a shaft mouth only remain, by flat-rods, some of whose route can be traced. These also connected to Brynhpoe mine (Nprn300562).
