Description
On the north bank of a small stream, the Nant Egnant, is a two-celled, drystone rectangular structure. It measures 14 metres east to west by 5 metres. The largest cell is to the west and internally it measures 8.25 metres east to west by 3 metres. The walls are 0.90 metres thick on average although the wall at the western end is 1.25 metres thick and roughly coursed. There is an entrance in the northeast corner of the cell. The central wall separating the two cells is 1m wide and 0.60 metres high with a sheep hole within it. The smaller cell to the east internally measures 2.75 metres east to west by 3 metres. In September 2012 vegetation cover was reported to be reeds externally and grass within.
