Description
Some 55m to the north of a possible longhouse on the bank of Nant yr Ysgwyd (NPRN 301469), on a bluff about 16m from the stream, lie the remains of a smaller structure with annexe, possibly ancillary outbuildings. The main structure measures 6.0m. SE-NW by 3.0m overall and is divided equally by a N-S cross wall, the floor level of the NW half being about 0.3m. higher than the other. It is bounded by rubble walls spread to about 1.0m. wide and 0.4m. high.; there is no apparent entrance. The annexe, to the NE, measures overall, 4.0m. SW-NE by 6.0m. and is bounded on the NW and NE by a turf-consolidated rubble wall 0.6m. wide, 0.3m. high. It is open on the SE.
