Immediately to the E of an old walled trackway, lie the remains of a circular structure on top of a turfed mound some 2.5m. high. The structure itself has an internal diameter of 2.8m. and is bounded by a rubble wall 0.6m. wide, 0.4m. high. The interior is filled with small rubble. The structure was probably an old limekiln with a fairly intact chargehole; the draw-hole, which must have been on the SE side, has been destroyed or covered.
