1. Regency-style Villa-like building with modest walled gardens and landscaped parkland. May overlie a much earlier manorial garden.

2. This garden is depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Brecknockshire XXXIV, sheet 2 (1888,1904). On the first edition there is a modest kitchen garden before the house in three sections of approximately the same size, though without glasshouses. Otherwise the house is surrounded by modest plantings, with parkland grazing and what may be remnant canal . Quite a lot of the trees have disappeared by the second edition.
