Maespoeth locomotive shed was built in 1878 by the Corris Railway Company (nprn 43018) to house three steam locomotives. Built of slate with 13-in pale brick arches to windows and openings, each side is of 9 bays, each having tall windows under segmental brick arches and 6 large panes of glass.
