Description
A row of 10 workers' cottages, built with rubble stonework, whitewashed to the front, and slate roofs. The cottages are built in a straight line, and each consisting of a single 2-storey bay, with a lateral framed and boarded door, and 16-pane sash windows to ground and first floors. Transverse stone stacks on party walls. Built 1857-1860 by local slate companies and probably aimed at workmen at Ty'n-y-berth Quarry (RAJ 13/3/01; based on CADW listing description).
