DescriptionSituated on the narrow floodplain of the River Hepste, on its E bank, amongst limestone outcrop, one of several structures comprising a settlement complex.
About 30m SE of a bridge (NPRN 301965), a track has been engineered down the steep 4-5m high river cliff in the form of a ledge about 2m wide, running down from N to S for about 15m, reveted on the downhill (W) side by a rubble wall some 0.4m high.
