Type Of SiteHUT CIRCLE
PeriodPrehistoric
DescriptionThe remains of a field system, an enclosure and hut circle, and a second possible hut circle lie on the sloping nose of a ridge between 250m and 310m above O.D. on the W slopes of Mynydd Du.
Some 70m to the W of the an enclosure with hut circle (NPRN 302179) are the vague remains of another structure which could be a further hut circle, although it does seem to have a more rectangular shape. It measures about 6m in diameter and is bounded by a vague rubble bank up to 2m wide and 0.3m high. This structure shows evidence of platforming in a similar way to its neighbour.
