A mutilated tumulus or barrow set on the summit of an isolated hill.
Originally a circular mound some 25m in diameter, the barrow stands up to 2.0m high and is crossed by a modern field wall.
Barrows such as this are generally identified as Bronze Age or later funerary monuments.
