Description
The standing stone north of Malltraeth is a tall stone pillar or erect monolith, 2.7m high, 1.3m wide and 1.0m thick. A stone such as this may well be a prehistoric ritual or ceremonial monument, most likely of the Bronze Age. However, a more recent date and a more mundane function are also possible.
