The mutilated remains of what is thought to be a medieval cross in the churchyard of St Mary's (NPRN 43622).
As described by the RCAHMW this is a simple eleventh century wheelcross. Formed from a single stone 1.2m high, 0.2m wide and 0.1m thick. The incomplete cross is raised above a background circle. The top has been adapted as a sundial.
Crosses such as this are thought to have been garlanded and otherwise worshiped as on Palm Sundays.
