Standing stone measures 2.2m high, 2.05m NE-SW x 0.7m at base, set in the NE part of a mound or platform about 0.7m high and 10.5m N-S x 8.2m. Packing stones are visible all around the base of the stone. Three stones visible at the edge of the mound on the W, S and E probably represent a former kerb.
The stone is known locally as Cae Coch, after the adjacent farm.
