DescriptionStembridge Cottage was situated on the south side of the minor road between Hundleton and Castlemartin, 1.5km north-east of the latter, and just to the south of Stem Bridge [NPRN: 24271]. Its site is now replaced by a modern electricity installation, 30m east of the new course of the road. It was recorded as a tenancy farm, `Stainbridge' c.1725. It still appears on the 1865 OS 1st edition 25" to the mile map, but there is no trace of the structure by the 1908 2nd edition, and it is recorded that it was in ruins by the 1920s.
