Description
Cremlyn North standing stone is a 3.1m high standing stone set in a slight hollow on ground falling gently to the north-west. A second similar stone stands some 240m to the south (NPRN 302676). Stones such as these are generally identified as prehistoric ritual or ceremonial monuments, often Bronze Age, although neither a more recent date nor a more mundane role can be ruled out.
