Situated on the west slopes of Llyn Dwythwch, are the remains of Cwm Dwythwch deserted rural settlement; which may be the remains of hafodau mentioned in 1352. The grouping consists of at least one domestic/transhumant structure and several sheepfolds and ancillary structures see NPRNs 505507and 505610-505612.
