'Slight vestiges of a hillfort occupying the end of an irregular rocky ridge, north of Llanfrothen. The site is well protected by crags and precipitous slopes on all but the northern approach, where there is a rather feeble bank, less than 1m high, forming a gentle curve from east to west, now largely overlain by a later field wall. On the eastern flank, there is a length of rubble walling, which may be a collapsed early wall. The interior is sloping with pockets of level ground between the rocky outcrops. There are possible traces of two hut circles close to the rampart on the north side of the enclosure'
