DescriptionArthog standing stone was originally described on early OS maps as a stone circle, but Gresham suggests the spread of the stones may suggest the remains of a cairn circle. Six stones survive with a hole for a seventh, with four other stones located about 2 meters east of the others. Some of the stones have been used as gateposts and one lies recumbent in the field a few meters from the site. The ten remaining stones range in height from 1 meter to 0.4 meters.
