Description
Carreg Naw Llyn (the stone of nine lakes) is on the Cambrian Way, a long-distance route from Cardiff to Conwy developed in the 1960s. Nine lakes are visible from this site, including Drygarn Fawr, Llyn Teifi, Llyn Hir, Llyn y gorlan, Llyn Egnant, Llyn Bach, Llyn Fyrddon Fach and Llyn Fyrddon Fawr and Llyn Du. The Claerwen reservoir, part of the 1950s Elan Valley water scheme, can also be seen from this view point.
