A possible ring cairn, some 25m overall diameter, apparently comprising two concentric stony banks, each about 1.5m wide & surviving up to 0.3m high, & set some 1.5m apart: the monument, at the centre of a north-west to south-east alignment of up to four cairns (see Nprn402918), is set within the hollow of an upland saddle, overlooked by Cairns I & III (Nprn402918-9), which occupy slight rises, some 90-100m to the north-west & south-east respectively: a small urn-sherd was found in, or at one of the three cairns (TCASFC 15 (1921-22), xii).
