Description
This stone stands in landscaped gardens (NPRN 86798) in the grounds of Llanllyr House. It was recovered from the fabric of the Tudor house (NPRN 419402) demolished around 1830. This is only one half of the original monument, the remaining fragment of which is said to have been built into the house walls. Thought to record a gift of land, the stone is possibly associated with the establishment of Llanllyr nunnery (NPRN 400436).

The stone is some 1m in height, and bears a linear Latin ring-cross, inscribed 'TESQUITUS DTOC/MADOMNUAC O/CCON FILIUS ASA/ITGEN DEDIT'.
