Description
Stone-built house, possibly hall and cross-wing in origin, with later buildings in range. List description (1993). (RFS/2002)

Farmhouse probably 16th century origin, appearing to be a one-and-a-half storey hall house with a two-storey cross-wing which has been refronted at a later date. There are later ranges to the south and east which include a service wing, a stable and a traphouse.

The buildings are mainly rubble built with a stone tile roof to the front and slate to the rear. The cross-wing is partially rendered, but the east side wall has exposed square-panel timber-framing while the front end gable has been rebuilt in rock-faced rubble incorporating a corner stack with a brick upper chimney. To the front and rear of the main range are slate-hung dormers, and there are various 19th/20th century small paned timber casements. The front gable has cambered voussoir lintels. Boarded doors.
