Parc Cynog Farm hillfort is a generally oval enclosure, c.66m NE-SW by 64m, defined by a rampart and ditch, the former reduced to a slight scarp on the NW, where the enclosure rests on steep natural slopes, having an additional rampart and ditch on the SW, apparently terminating at the W-facing entrance.

Limited excavations, 1967-8 (de Quincey 1970), revealed details of stone revetting, however no datable finds were produced.

A disturbed area, central to the enclosure, may indicate the presence of buildings/structures, possibly relatively recent.
