Walton Mill Rath is an oval ditched and banked enclosure, 52m NW-SE by 28m, ploughed-down, set on a S facing slope, having a NW-facing entrance. From the entrance depends a further circuit, apparent on all sides, except where obscurred on the SW, indicating the presence of a concentric antenna enclosure, 112m NW-SE by at least 98m. Immediately to the SE is a rectangular ditched enclosure, 54m NW-SE by at least 50m, obscurred to the SW.
