Public house with adjoining yard and outbuilding set in the middle of terraced brick rows (one dated 1863).

Built in the mid C19, Barley Mow is two storeys and twin gabled, its front is stucco added to an earlier fabric. It has Tudor Gothic detailing and s late roofs with cusped bargeboards (lower to left). There are two 2-light mullioned and transomed windows with chamfered reveals and rectangular dripmoulds, small-paned sashes behind transomes. There is a rubble stone left hand side with long brick and corrugated iron range to rear, stone stack with diagonal brick stems.
